What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology refers to the scientific study of human movement, performance, and function. In your session with our kinesiologist, you will complete a full assessment and get you moving and challenging your body at a level that is appropriate to you.

Depending on the clients needs, the sessions involve a combination of strength/endurance training, plyometrics, mobility, and flexibility training. This often leads to improved function, mood, and reduced daily aches and pain.

Our goal is to help clients learn to enjoy the process of recovering from an injury or improving their fitness. Our role is to support and inspire individuals to realize their potential and gain control of their physical health through the understanding that movement is medicine for increasing their overall quality of life and well-being.

How do I know when it’s right for me?

Generally your Physiotherapist or Chiro will refer you to our Kinesiologist as part of your overall recovery plan. But it’s never a bad idea to book in yourself and start moving like a champ!
